What is a Ski Nut?

It started several years ago in fall after Nut #1 finished rebuilding his first pair of SeaDoo’s. He was sitting at the computer anxiously surfing for another ‘Hot Deal’ on a broken ski or two, when step-son Thad asked him; “You looking for ANOTHER ski?” Nut# 1 replied; “Look at it this way, I’m like a squirrel gathering his nuts for winter.” “I think YOU’RE nuts” was heard from daughter Kara in the neighboring room.

Shortly thereafter, Nut#1 was at his day job talking about his latest ski rescue and his good friend and co-worker asked him; “What’s with you and the Jet Skis?” “They’re fun to work on!” replied the Nut. So after the two returned from the east coast with a broken ski in tow, Nut #2 was born.

Nut #1, real name: Mark

Machinist, Associate Development Engineer, the older but wiser of the two.

Nut #2, real name: Brian

Principle Electrical Engineer (creator/father of Skeeter), definitely the most intelligent Nut.

We are a couple of guys who simply like to work on and ride PWC’s. With our different skill sets and backgrounds, we compliment each other well. Nut #1 has been heard several times saying; “Hey 2, this one seems to have an electrical issue, its yours!”

We are located in Dover, Ohio near the mighty Tuscarawas River.
